I went backpacking around Thailand for 4 weeks whilst between years at University and that is where I caught the so-called “travelling bug” and transformed my hobby of photography into a passion. I now work full-time as a professional photographer in the amazingly scenic Whistler in Canada!

I want to share my knowledge of budget backpacking, photography and health and fitness tips, skipping all the bull.

I love looking at the pretty photos of people posing and looking perfect in their travelling photos… but come on…we all know that’s not real! (Be prepared to see the complete opposite on here!)

I hope to inspire you to travel and help conquer any fears you may have about experiencing the world for yourself- there are so many amazing places!

I am by no means the most experienced out there, but living out of a backpack for 18 months I learnt an enormous amount about how little changes can have a huge impact on the ease and enjoyment of your trip. I hope you find at least some of it useful and don’t have to learn the hard way like I often did! 

Whether you plan to go backpacking for a long time, a short time, or for a few weeks holiday abroad, whether you just fancy brushing up on some photography skills, or whether you’d like a few simple equipment-free workouts to do anywhere you please, there will be something for everybody!
