Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has beautiful beaches, picturesque countryside as far as the eyes can see, mountains with epic hikes and views, and so many amazing animals. The people and food make it that extra bit special. Not once did i feel unsafe, pestered or like i was being ripped off. If anything it was the complete opposite…the locals are so friendly, helpful and generous.

The food was on another level and my very first meal in Sri Lanka was a curry at a small local restaurant called ‘Mama’s Rooftop Kitchen in Galle Fort… Mind blown! They make an assortment of 10 different curry dishes with a choice of meat, almost like a curry tapas, and then you mix it all together with rice and eat it. It is AMAZING.
